Gant Builders was founded by us, Oliver and Rochelle Gant, at the peak of Covid-19, in 2020. Olly completed his Carpentry Apprenticeship in 2014, continuing his building experience as a Lead Hand for 6 years, whilst he achieved his Building Registration. Olly’s commitment to better building practices, environmental consciousness, and wanting to build quality homes, inspired him to found Gant Builders. Olly recognised the need for a construction company that prioritises its clients' needs by creating homes that foster a healthy environment, operate with low running costs, and have minimal environmental impact. Naturally, Chelle started helping behind the scenes, whilst on maternity leave and then found herself juggling her nursing career, motherhood, the new business and studying interior design. However, Chelle found her upbringing on site and years of carpentry labouring very helpful when making this transition. From our early days to our current projects, we have grown as a company, as well as a family of almost 6 now, however we remained dedicated to exceeding client expectations, continuing our professional development, and utilising sustainable building practices.
